2001-10-24 10:08 p.m. So, yeah, who here spent five and a half hours in a cramped conference room today? Any guesses? Oh yeah, that's right, it was.... wait for it.... ME! Well, five and a half minus the 30 minutes we wasted when the building was evacuated. Yup. Apparently someone found some white powder in an envelope in the bathroom and called the cops. The cops came, and kicked us all out. But, as you may have guessed, there was no anthrax and (lucky us) we were allowed to go back in to the meeting. But, I did manage to score some free tshirts and other company-logoed booty as well as chit chat with the president. No, not GeeDub, the prez of our company. Really nice guy. Probably only knows me as the kid who spilled stuffed mushroom on his shoe. But whatever. Good eats are worth any price. downtown----uptown leave me a note, fool!
