Shut up, George Takei.

I'm sick of this dude. Brotha had three seasons and six movies to play the not-terribly-important Mr. Sulu on the Star Trek and now he can't shut up about how important the show was on a socio-political level.

Seriously, man. Shush.

The appeal of the show isn't found in its comment on race relations in late-Sixties America, it's found in the fact that the aliens were made out of cardboard, the acting was horrendous, and still we found ways to love it.

Shut up George Takei. The City on the Edge of Forever is on.

In other news, "Pa Rum Pa Pum Pum" or whatever the hell that song is called has now been surpassed as my least favorite Christmas Carol. Or, as our Brit, Canuck, and Aussie friends would say, my least favourite Christmas Carol.

The new winner? "Santa Baby". Feh.

And, excuse me, but is "Raindrops on Roses and Whiskers on Kittens" really a Christmas Carol? Are we so thread-bare on Seasonal Songs that we need to lump that piece of crap in with the rest of the much more deserving songs?

Jerkoff celebs and bitching about nonissues: these are a few of my favo(u)rite things.
