2002-01-12 10:06 p.m. All I was doing was telling Amanda a story, in attempt to be funny, on how Mom is turning up the pressure on me to find a girlfriend/futureWife. I mentioned how I like to tease Mom and tell her that I don't really plan on ever getting married. This was supposed to be the punchline. Amanda rolled her eyes in the loving way that only friends can perfect. She asked if I really thought there was a chance that I would be forever unhitched. I laughed and said "No, of course not."
